So I made a post addressing an issue that occurred a couple days ago i think it was, but it got stuck in the drafts so I just added it as a PSA in the navigation. It isn’t really pertinent to any of you guys to have to read, but it’s for future reference to anyone outside of this rp who is or gets offended by this group in some way.
Anthony “Tony” Ramirez is twenty-six years old » FC: Michael Trevino
A couple of bumps on the road is what Tony has decided to call what has shaped his life and helped him become the person he is today. Born and raised in Puerto Rico for most of his childhood, he had moved to Brooklyn, New York by the beginning of his teenagehood. His parents struggled economically so he did everything he could to provide for his family. School wasn’t hard for him seeing as he enjoyed reading and find the school system rather easy to get around, but because of his inability to assist most classes (because of his multiple jobs) he was forced to finish it online. Thanks to this though he managed to finish it rather quickly.
During his time as a college freshman, he was still as busy but he managed to meet someone very important in his life. Sadly for him, he lost her because of his own mistakes — something he hasn’t been able to forgive himself about just yet. Even though he was suffering right after that loss, it did not stop him from continuing his studies at an advanced rate. However, just when he was about to finish one of his last semesters to get his bachelor’s degree, he was kidnapped by a scientist. While it was somewhat stressful for him to think he was stuck in that place without his family, he managed to pull through until the scientist was discovered and he was free to go back to his home.
Once he returned to reality though, everything seemed even harder (regarding one of his jobs). So he opted on taking the money he had stolen and saved away a long time that, which, thankfully, his sister had not touched yet. He paid all the paid his entire family owed to anyone in general and he packed his bags (along with his family’s) and moved all the way to Seattle.
Once in Seattle, he knew he needed a more stable job that would provide for his family and although he really wanted to go after education, the payment the United States give to most teachers is not enough to sustain himself and his family altogether. Not giving it much thought, Tony immediately had applied to one of the medical schools in Seattle while he was still in New York and once he had arrived to Seattle, he had received a call and an email letting him know that he was accepted.
After four years of medical school, he decided that surgery was the most interesting career he was genuinely interested in — therefore he went after it. To his surprise, most of his friends that he had made in Seattle were going to do their internship in one of the hospitals of Manhattan, so he decided to follow his group of friends. That one year of internship he learned a lot of things. While he was initially going for the neurosurgical title, he ended up choosing plastics. The way his resident had presented it was both deep and beautiful, so he fell right into it — almost always finding a way to treat a patient who was going to be undergoing plastic surgery.
As soon as he had taken the test for residency, he had plenty of offers from different hospitals and although he wanted to stay in Manhattan, he decided he wanted to move around. Initially he wanted to go to Seattle for his residency, wishing he’d be closer to his family but after some input from them, he decided to go somewhere else and get away from his past. Get somewhat of a fresh start.
Okay lovelies, it would seem that our Lorcan Lockhart has decided to undergo some extreme facial reconstructive surgery and now looks like Aaron Tveit. His biographic has now been updated.
Ethan “Fox” Ares is twenty-five years old » FC: Zach Roerig
When Ethan was seven years old his parents filed for divorce because his father had a child with another woman. He remained in the custody of his mother in South Africa while his father moved to Oregon and later started a family of his own. Ethan never really heard from his father or even saw him again until ten years later because at seventeen his mother was killed during a home invasion. He blames himself for her death because instead of being home that night as he should have he decided to stay at a party with friends. He feels that if only he were at home he could have prevented her death. His dual citizenship allowed him to enter the United States to live with his father in Portland. Ethan never felt accepted by his father and his new family. Feeling like a stranger in his so called new “home”.
To make up for not having been able to protect his mother he enlisted in the U.S. Marines as soon as he turned eighteen. It was his way of being able to devote his life to protecting those around him as well as being able to get away from his new family. After serving two years Ethan ranked as a Lance Corporal Scout Sniper. However, his short time in the military caused serious mental strain. He was discharged due to being diagnosed with PTSD. Ethan decided to move back to Johannesburg and was living with another former battle buddy.
On his way to see his doctor to make alterations to his prescriptions he was kidnapped. It was worrying at first because he did not want to end up hurting someone if he were to have had an episode. He became good friends with his roommate in the house, which over time became something more. Ethan had never expected to fall in love with Owen since he had only ever identified as heterosexual and struggled greatly with talking about his feelings and their relationship, but he tried his best to overcome his insecurities with his mental illness.
Upon being relocated with the others Ethan under went experimental brain surgery; which as a result caused his PTSD to lessen drastically, even recovering from it completely over time. After re-establishing events from a brief side effect of memory loss he and Owen were able to continue their relationship and start a life together after their release. It was difficult dealing with Owen’s mother, but Fox is sure the woman will come around especially seeing how she’d been at their wedding. The two have been married now going on three years.
Rayde Carson is twenty-four years old » FC: Phoebe Tonkin
Rayde’s mother died when she was 6, her father never being able to cope with the loss found life to be better in a stupor of drugs and alcohol, ultimately landing their family in the ghettos of Glasgow which she knows the workings of all too well. Growing up she suffered greatly from his violent outbursts. Though close in age the role of protector and caretaker ultimately fell to her older brother Torion. She was 15 when her father OD’ed, instead of becoming wards of the government she and her brother fled. Needless to say she is no stranger to the harsh realities of life and various forms of abuse; which caused her to become quite withdrawn.
At the age of 19 she received the worst news of all that her brother was in severe condition at a hospital in Edinburgh losing the battle for his life. She was kidnapped on her way to see him and ended up finding herself in a secluded mansion in America with other teens and young adults. The experience was quite a rollercoaster for her. For the first time she was able to try to form connections to others and explore feelings she never allowed herself to have. However, her time in the house did take a great toll on her. She was put through an overwhelming amount of mental and emotional strain primarily due to a triggering event involving another housemate. Cycling through different psychological/emotional stages in order to cope. She was eventually released from the house and sent back to Scotland a few weeks after being relocated to a town with the teens.
It’d been three long years after the mansion and the first two were the hardest, but she’d managed and made it through alive. Survival was first and foremost, Rayde had to prove it to herself and to her brother that she could make it even though he had passed. She was a dealer for awhile in the underground scene and then came the day where she had no where to run, but to Sean Flanagan. Then it became a matter of waiting. She’d adapted quickly to life with him and even gained his trust and affections though there was no love returned. All the while saving what she could and taking small cuts for herself out of his takes so that she could get away with enough to hold her over.
No one ever messed with her because she was ‘Sean’s girl’ and she used it to her advantage making herself a notable person to those around her. Rayde became much stronger of a person than she had been at the house and even before. Only having herself to truly rely on. She eventually made it out of Sean’s shadow, barely. Gaining him more power over Glasgow in exchange for their so called “break up”. She still worked for him on occasion and eventually purchased her own house. Granted, it was still in a bad location, but it was hers and she made due quite well.
One day, she received an unexpected visit from Liam, someone of her past that was a close friend and she had grown deep feelings for. It was a little overwhelming seeing as she thought he was dead since last she’d heard of how dangerous his life on the run had been. A relationship formed out of the reunion and they’ve been together for going on two years, deciding to make a move back to America when he was granted re-entry.
Owen Ares is twenty-three years old » FC: Tyler Hoechlin
Born in Barrow, Alaska, Owen spent a lot of his life learning how to do manual labor. His small family was the center of his communities historical and cultural know-how, his mother being the chief of the Inuit tribe of their area. She always say to it that Owen followed the rules and put family before himself. This was well and good until Owen realized that he was gay, which was unheard of in his community.
Living most of his life in secret, the only people that knew he liked men were his sister, after she caught him making out with his first boyfriend, and his best friend, who acted as his beard for years in an effort to hide that she was a lesbian. Once Owen was kidnapped and taken to the mansion, things changed. He met a man, ex-marine Fox Ares who would change his outlook on life forever.
The two had a rocky relationship at first, juggling Owen’s insecurities and Fox’s PTSD resulted in a few close calls. But, the more they got to know each other, the more the two realized they were in love. Owen, realized that he didn’t want to be with anyone else in the world. After they were released from the house, and Owen having won Fox’s heart over not just once, but twice, the two left together. Owen came out to his family and was met with the door in his face. But, as time wore on, Fox seemed to wear Owen’s mother down because, by the time their wedding came, she was not only present, but in good spirits.
Now married, the two are trying to find a place to settle down. Owen, being the happiest he has ever been in his life, has babies on the brain and is weary about bringing it up with his husband.
